Meet Joep, EFKF ambassador
Hello, I’m Joep!
Currently I’m still learning to become a primary school teacher and I’m in my last year of college. Together with Carli, I went to Ghana from October to December 2019. We both taught different subjects on a primary school in the southern part of Ghana. Supported by EFKF, we were able to teach English lessons with lots of materials and books that they sponsored us. Thanks to the Santa Run of 2019 we were able to contribute and improve the facilities at the school in Accra. So many children around the world that are in need of good English learning materials and methods. That’s why I decided to become an ambassador of EFKF. I help to put up different activities to raise money, think about new ways to approach and appeal the children and collaborate with other employees to do this the best we can! Be sure to check out more information about our time in Ghana when you get the chance. |
Meet Carli, EFKF ambassador
Hello, my name is Carli Moerland!
At the moment I am in my final year of the teacher training college of primary education. Together with Joep we went to Ghana. For 3 months we gave English based on the Anglia Step To Books, offered by EFKF. Thanks to books and additional materials we saw a lot of improvement. EFKF is a nice organization that gives children the opportunity to learn English. That is why I still want to commit myself to the foundation and have become an ambassador. I supported the SantaRun in 2019 and I have joined Run4Ghana in June. By working together with EFKF we came into contact with people all over the world who also like to contribute. By co-organizing activities and raising money, we want to improve the speaking of English and to give children more opportunities. |
